Government and Community Relations
As a Boston City Councilor Josh was intimately involved in all aspects of Boston municipal government and regularly engaged with large institutions and neighborhood groups. He has also developed a strong regional network, working across the Commonwealth to build enduring relationships with mayors, legislators, and political activists.
Permitting and Licensing
During six years in Boston City Hall Josh reviewed hundreds of applications for local approvals and permits. He knows how to help clients garner support for their projects and to navigate each step of the permitting process. From meeting with government officials and neighborhood stakeholders, to leading public meetings and regulatory hearings, Josh understands what your project needs to achieve a successful outcome.
Real Estate Development
For six years as a City Councilor Josh oversaw major development projects throughout Boston’s downtown neighborhoods. Working with community leaders, officials at the Boston Planning & Development Agency, and other elected officials Josh has had unique, firsthand experience with the review and approval process for real estate projects in Boston and beyond.
